The project “Figurative and Figure in the Young Romanian Art” has been done with the financial support of the National Cultural Fund, being one of the 92 projects that obtained this institution's financing during the 1st session of the cultural projects' competition organized by the National cultural Fund's Administration at the end of the year 2005. In the project's organization and development the University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca collaborated with Anaid Art Gallery Bucharest, Bruckenthal National Museum Sibiu and the "Atelier Deschis" Association Miercurea-Ciuc, having the professional support of these partners. The curatorial project (coordonated by junior lecturer Bogdan Iacob) united 16 Romanian artists of the young generation from Bucharest and Cluj, whose works have been the cores of the two sections/exhibition of the project „Retinal / Seduction” (artists – Marius Bercea, Florin Ciulache, Mirela Craciun, Oana Farcaş, Kudor Duka Istvan, Şerban Savu, Roman Tolici, Iuliana Valsan) and „The Beauty and the Beast” (artists - Suzana Dan, David Istvan, Dumitru Gorzo, Marius Jucan, Alexandru Radvan, Mircea Suciu, Sorin Tara, Simona Vilau).
